While searching through our cook books last week, we found a recipe for a dish called Chicken Tagine. It called for some interesting combinations, including apricots and garam masala. So, even though we weren't quite sure how the flavors would come together, we tried it out.
Very happily, once again, the flavors turned out a delicious dish and we had a great meal. I was a little disappointed that the recipe called for dried apricots, as they added an odd texture. So next time, I'll probably try to use fresh apricots instead. Similarly, the diced canned tomatoes could have been so much better in the dish if they'd have been fresh. So when in doubt, go fresh!
